As the Istinye University Faculty of Health Sciences, we are honored and delighted to announce the 4th International Istanbul Health Sciences Congress, which will be held in Istanbul on December 12-13, 2025. We invite you to this meaningful congress that will take place at the Istinye University Topkapı Campus Congress Center, in our ancient city of Istanbul, the cradle of civilizations.
This year, we dedicate our congress to the memory of Prof. Yasemin Buran Çırak, a valuable academician who made significant contributions to our faculty as Dean, and Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation for many years. She tragically passed away in a traffic accident on January 23, 2025. We remember her with deep respect and gratitude.
The main theme of this year’s congress is: “Smart Health in a Complex World: Adaptation, Awareness, and Flexibility.” In today’s world, which is rapidly changing and sometimes shaped by crises, it has become more important than ever for healthcare professionals to be not only knowledgeable but also adaptable, self-aware, and flexible. We believe that healthcare services must be restructured and that interdisciplinary collaboration must be strengthened in this context.
With contributions from departments of Child Development, Midwifery, Nursing, Nutrition and Dietetics, Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation, Speech and Language Therapy, as well as from other health-related disciplines, our congress will be enriched by scientific presentations, panels, courses, and social interaction opportunities.
Accepted abstracts will be published in an international journal after evaluation by the scientific committee, and outstanding studies will be awarded.
We will be delighted to meet and share knowledge with you, our esteemed colleagues, at this congress where science and professional collaboration meet in the historical and cultural richness of Istanbul.

Registration and Information Desk: The registration and information desks will open at the Congress Center on December 12, 2025, at 08:00 and will remain open until 18:00 on December 13, 2025.
Badge: All participants and accompanying persons are required to wear their badges at the entrance to the meeting center, during scientific sessions, in exhibition areas, and at other social events to ensure the smooth running and security of the congress.
Invitation Letter: Invitation letters will be sent upon request to congress participants who have completed their registration. This letter is intended solely to assist participants in obtaining permission from their affiliated institutions and does not provide any financial support to the participant.

Certificate of Attendance, Scientific Program, and Speech / Abstracts: Certificates of attendance will be distributed at the registration desk at the congress center at the end of the congress.
The scientific program and speech/abstracts will be published in PDF format on the congress website after the event.
Additionally, the scientific program and speech/abstracts will be published in both Turkish and English in the Turkish Journal of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation after the congress.
Prof. Yasemin BURAN ÇIRAK Undergraduate Student Projects Oral Presentation Award: In memory of Prof. Yasemin Buran Çırak, awards will be presented for the first time this year to presentations selected by the jury.

Abstracts can be submitted as oral or poster presentations. Authors must indicate
their presentation preference during submission. However, the Scientific Advisory
Board holds the right to make the final decision regarding the presentation
format.
All abstracts (oral or poster) must be submitted as an MS Word file attachment via
email to istanbulsaglikbilimleri2025@gmail.com in the format described below.
If submitting more than one abstract, each must be sent in a separate email. The
subject line of the email should include the presentation preference and full title
of the abstract.
Example: “Poster – Frequency of Osteoporosis in Type 2 Diabetes.”
Abstracts submitted by post or fax will not be accepted.
Abstracts must be submitted in both Turkish and English.

The final abstract submission deadline is November 21, 2025.
At least one of the authors listed on the abstract must be registered for the congress. Each registered author may present only one abstract. If an author wishes to present more than one abstract, an additional fee of 1000 TL per extra abstract is required in addition to the congress registration fee. However, being listed as a co-author on other abstracts presented by different participants is permitted.

It is with deep sorrow that we share the heartbreaking news of the tragic loss of Prof. Dr. Yasemin BURAN ÇIRAK, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences and Head of the Department of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation at Istinye University, along with her family in a car accident. Prof. Dr. Yasemin BURAN ÇIRAK was a pioneer in the establishment of the Istanbul Health Sciences Congress and made significant contributions to the field of Physiotherapy and Rehabilitation through her scientific work and academic vision.
